Jailbrk iOS 4.3.5 on iPhone 4, iPad and iPod Touch with Redsn0w

has just relsed another iOS update this time called iOS 4.3.5. This is a minor update to issues with the certifie verifiion. The good news for all jailbrk fans is that we can confirm that Redsn0w can jailbrk this iOS version on the iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 1 and iPod Touch 4G/3G. It is however limited to a tethered boot and the iPad 2 is not supported.

If you are relying on a carrier unlock you are advised to stay away from using Redsn0w. If not, here is how you can use Redsn0w to get a tethered jailbrk on iOS 4.3.5.

The first thing you have to do is download iOS 4.3.5 and iOS 4.3.4 for your device. Next download Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 and make sure that you are running the latest version of iTunes which is 10.4.

Next you need to start Redsn0w and browse for the iOS 4.3.3 firmware file and point it towards Redsn0w. Once this file has been recognized click next and you will be taken to a new window. Here you need to click on install Cydia lving all the other options. When done just click next. On the next screen you will be instructed to shut down your device and plug it into your computer. Follow the instructions given and then click next to continue.

After this your device will need to be put into DFU mode. The instructions will be on the screen so just follow them. Once you device is in DFU mode Redsn0w will jailbrk your device. You dont need to do anything here but wait until it is finished. Thats it, your iDevice will now have a tethered jailbrk running iOS 4.3.5.
